"Pray for me, and I'll pray for you."
It was a parting statement between two closest friends, right after, "I Love You, I'll see you soon." In October of 2001 these two friends formed a virtual meditation group online by creating a simple single graphic for each person in the group to focus on, and asked those in need to project their "hopes, desires and wishes for healing" into the graphic.
For five days nearly twenty people meditated on the highest possible outcome for a single person. There weren't rules, or rituals or creeds involved. Religion wasn't an issue, belief systems were set aside to focus on the highest possible good, with pure intention called, "White Light". The miracle happened. Then it happened again, and again.
Lives began to change, cancers went into remission, teenagers estranged from their families returned home, hope was restored as stories of healing and transformation were shared.

When the 2009 recession left me unemployed I decided to follow my heart and true calling. I realized that the years I had spent trying to "live" had prepared me to "really live" and to truly serve. After 30 years of intense spiritual study, numerous mystical and paranormal experiences combined with countless hours of research I was ordained as a priest in the Sacred Order of Melchizedek in the Sanctuary of the Beloved.
I truly believe that we each have a Sacred Contract with our divine center, and with the Source of all creation. The tough part is remembering where we fit in and why. It's my passion to assist people in their quest for self love, and authenticity. (As a side note, I have an incredibly irreverent sense of humor, you probably won't find me in a meadow chanting "ohm". Although if you do, please take a picture and post it on my Facebook page.
Avis Latone
As a small girl I had experiences and saw things that led me down a path of curiosity. I am not what I would call religious, nor would I say I don’t believe in anything, far from it. I would say that I am spiritual. In my quest to find what was right for me; I studied many different religions and found that I honor each one and that each held at least something that felt right in my core.
As a highly intuitive empath, it has and always will be about the healing energy of light, the power of prayer, positive energy and focus with intent. I believe in paying attention to what the earth, the elements, and your gut feelings are telling you. I specialize in Animal Reiki healing, and I'm looking for ways that we humans can accept the healing when it's offered to us the way our animal friends do.

This gathering was created with the intention of giving you a peaceful weekend break -- to give you the ability to dig deeper into your consciousness without the typical landslide of noise, activity or "vendor mayhem" of similar events and to truly make it about you. Between the crew at WLE we have attended at least a hundred gatherings facilitated by other groups and assisted in organizing many of them. Years of planning went into our final decision to host ours in the Puget Sound area and especially at the gorgeous Fort Worden. Not only is Fort Worden a beautiful memorial to Peace, it can offer us the facilities we believe we will need for future, larger gatherings that will still allow us to maintain a sense of privacy and sacred space. We wanted these events to be available to everyone, including our disabled brothers and sisters and this venue is perfect. We are grateful for the opportunity we have to serve all with grace.

This workshop -- open to both men and women -- will explore the fundamentals of being a Highly Sensitive Person (or “HSP”), as defined by Dr. Elaine N. Aron in her landmark 1996 book “The Highly Sensitive Person: How to Thrive When the World Overwhelms You.”
The workshop will focus on the experience of highly sensitive men -- sometimes referred to as “the hidden HSPs” -- who statistically make up about 50% of all HSPs, even though their numbers appear to be much smaller than those of HS women. We will examine the HS male “need to hide” sensitivity in our modern culture, the issue of cultural biases, the importance of discovery, acceptance, learning and ways in which to embrace and work with sensitivity in life, work and relationships.
The first half of the workshop will primarily be a presentation of high sensitivity and highly sensitive men; the second half will be interactive and experiential.
A familiarity with high sensitivity and the work and books of Dr. Elaine Aron, Dr. Ted Zeff, Dr. Barrie Jaeger and others is recommended, but not required. There are many good introductory articles about HSPs online. For more information, visit Peter Messerschmidt’s web site at www.hspnotes.com.
About the presenter: Peter Messerschmidt always knew something was “a little different” about the way he experienced life, but it wasn’t until 1997 he found an actual “name” to put with his sense of feeling a little out-of-step with his surroundings: Highly Sensitive Person.
For the past 15 years, he has been researching and exploring the ins and outs of life as an HSP, through personal experience and interaction with hundreds of fellow HSPs. He writes and maintains “HSP Notes,” the Internet’s oldest blog dedicated entirely to HSP topics; he has authored dozens of articles on the subject of high sensitivity; he has presented workshops at HSP Gatherings and retreats and is the founder and organizer of the Seattle & Puget Sound Highly Sensitive Person Group, as well as numerous online groups for HSPs. His first book “Please Don’t Yell At Me! Growing Up and Living as a Highly Sensitive Male” is scheduled for publication in July 2013.
He lives in Port Townsend, Washington with his wife Sarah (also an HSP), three cats, a dog and nine chickens, where he makes his living as a writer, eBay entrepreneur and workshop organizer.

About The Presenter: Sarah is trained as a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui tradition, and is also an Egyptian Reiki Master. As an ordained minister, she chose certification in Spiritual Life Coaching and learned Spiritual Response from Robert Detzler. She is an advanced practitioner of Spiritual Response Therapy.
Her objective was to become an adolescent criminal psychologist; however she left her internship at Challenger Memorial Youth center in Lancaster, California when she realized she would be unable to truly utilize her inherent gifts as a clinical analyst.
Her greatest passion besides being a Melchizedek Priest and the Co-founder of The White Light Express, is being a mother to three extraordinary Indigo children she still calls "her kids" even though they are grown; their children are her deepest joy. Sarah lives in the Pacific Northwest with her amazing husband, nine chickens, three cats, and one really weird dog.

You can rent a car at the airport, take public transportation or take one of two shuttle possibilities: OLYMPIC SHUTTLE -Daily bus service to Port Townsend, Port Angeles (Victoria Ferry), Sequim, Seattle, Sea-Tac & points on the Olympic Peninsula. If you are planning to use the Olympic shuttle from SeaTac, you will need to ARRIVE at SEA Airport BY NOON (to catch the 12:50 shuttle) - arriving then in Port Townsend at 3:50 pm where you will need to arrange a cab [Peninsula Taxi: 360-385-1872] to bring you to your lodging, and some local inns can arrange for a pick up if you notify them in advance.

Madrona is in East Jefferson County (for reference to their rate page). This shuttle will pick you up at the airport and deliver you right to your destination.
